Climb Online is one of the UK’s fastest growing digital marketing agencies, founded by BBC Apprentice Winner, Mark Wright.

Developed in partnership with Lord Sugar, Climb Online works with over 400 businesses globally, offering services in SEO, PPC and Social Media Advertising.

THE BRIEF

Make More Noise were appointed by Mark Wright in October 2015, after Mark experienced multiple difficulties with his then PR agency.

With no clear strategy in place, Mark was consistently featured in negative stories within the national press, which were not handled with an effective crisis communications PR strategy. In addition, Mark received no PR support to raise awareness of the Climb Online brand or to help drive new business enquiries.

THE STRATEGY

Make More Noise developed an effective PR strategy that focused on positioning Mark as an inspiring business leader, entrepreneur and digital marketer, whilst raising awareness of the Climb Online brand as one of the UK’s top digital marketing agencies.

This was implemented with a drip-feed of positive news stories about the agency, ranging from the launch of new offices – which included BBC Points West TV coverage – through to the consistent growth of the agency, supported by client case studies.

Alongside this, the Make More Noise team worked hard to raise Mark’s profile as an inspiring business leader, securing consistent interview, comment piece, news jacking and awards opportunities, including multiple ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ awards, 2 listings on Forbes 30 under 30 and entry in the top 10 of the renowned start-ups 100.

 

THE OUTCOME

Make More Noise continues to work with Mark and Climb Online, having retained the account since late 2015.

Impressed by the level of service received, Mark became an Investor and Director of Make More Noise in October 2017.
